Can the Chiefs survive for the “Win” and reach 6-0 against the Patriots?

Can the Kansas City Chiefs survive on Sunday and reach a 6-0 record against the Patriots? This question and many more will be answered on Sunday in week #6 of the NFL. They are averaging 35 points per game after the first 5 games while allowing their opponents an average of 25.8 points. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 112 passes for a total of 1513 passing yards and 14 touchdowns.  His top wide receiver, Tyreek Hill has scored 3 touchdowns and compiled 425 yards. Travis Kelce also has 3 touchdowns and has accumulated 407 yards. Running back Kareem Hunt has covered 376 yards on the ground resulting in 4 touchdowns. The defensive line is being led by Anthony Hitchens with an incredible 45 tackles already.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have begun the season with a 3-2 record. It’s still hard to say if they will be able to secure enough wins to make the playoffs this season but Sunday’s matchup matters. Brady has thrown for 1259 yards, completed 121 passes and has 12 touchdowns as a result.  Rob Gronkowski is doing what he does with 308 yards and 1 touchdown. James White is right behind the Gronk with 270 yards and 4 touchdowns. Sony Michel has 2 touchdowns with a ground game that has covered 294 yards so far this season. Tying the Pats together is the lead defensive player Devin McCourty with 33 tackles.

Who is the Sunday night favorite?

The line makers have predicted the New England Patriots -3.5 as the favorite. The money line is Patriots -185 with the combined total at 59 points. With the fans losing faith in the Patriots 57% believe that the Chiefs will win by covering the -3 point spread. With such a high total on the game it’s hard to believe that 61% are betting that the combined score will exceed 59 points.
