LeBron James does not rule out returning someday to the Cavaliers

Could LeBron James see himself playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers again? He will not rule it out and announced that if he decided to comeback someday he is hoping the town’s amply scorned followers would accept him back. Football Betting

James qualified it all by exclaiming he’s happy playing for the championship-contending Miami Heat. But making his 3rd return to Cleveland since his highly visible free-agency exit, hard feelings seem to be unfreezing from James’ outlook.

“I think it’d be great, it would be fun to play in front of these fans again,” James expounded after the Heat’s practice at Quicken Loans Arena.

“I had plenty of fun times here. You can’t predict the future. Hopefully you keep on staying healthy. I’m here as a Miami player and I’m contented where I am now but I don’t rule that out in any perception. If I make a decision to come back, after a time the followers will accept me.”

Dwyane Wade, who helped persuade James to leave Cleveland two years ago, acclaimed he may see James coming back — though not in the future. Online Sports Betting

James, who is under deal with the Miami Heat for 2 more seasons with a choice for 2 more, also appeared to extend an olive branch to Cavs owner Dan Gilbert. The 2 have taken diverse high-profile shots at each other since James’ exit in July of 2010. The most memorable was Gilbert’s ranting open letter to Cavs followers the night James announced his call.

“I don’t hold hard feelings, I hold them a little bit but I don’t hold them that prolonged,” James said. “He said what he claimed out of resentment. He probably would like to take that back, but I made a mistake, too. There are a couple of things I’d want to take back as well. You learn from your mistakes and progress.”

James and Gilbert have not talked since the Cavs’ free-agent meeting with James on July 3, 2010. The 2 were in a collective bargaining negotiating session in New York for a couple of hours last fall but did not talk. James recounted there hadn’t been any efforts by either side to arrange things up.

But time and circumstance appear to be closing the wounds. The Cavs drafted former Duke player Kyrie Irving with the No. 1 overall pick last year alongside Tristan Thompson with the No. 4 pick. Thompson is represented by one of James’ closest friends, Rich Paul.

James still spends his offseason living in close by Akron, where the majority of his family still lives.

James acknowledged he has changed and is enjoying hoops the way in which he once did.

“I’m back to how I was in Cleveland, having fun with the game, appreciating the game, loving the game and playing at a high level,” he said. “I got away from that last year. It had been a tough year for me last year, making the whole accommodation, off and on the court, going thru everything I went through.

“I just got back to how I got to this position, back to playing the way that I understand how to play.”
