Betting On College Football

Here at we have been associated with betting on college football for a very long time and we have drawn up a set of guidelines that if adhered to will ensure that you don't make any mistakes along the way, these rules are nothing technical or anything like that, just common sense really but please believe us when we say that they will make all of the difference if followed.

Ok, if you don't have any experience in betting on college football always remember that there is no rush to jump straight in, not that it is complicated or anything like that but if you take the time to know what you are doing it will be a far more enjoyable experience. Now you may find it strange that a sportsbook is telling you to hold back, after all, wouldn't it be better for us if you actually lost? Not at all, we are interested in providing all of your betting requirements for years to come so strange as it might seem, we want you to win.

When you are satisfied that you know what you are doing with regards to betting on college football (if you have any problems along the way our support staff are always happy to help) it is time to get started but there are a couple of other things that we must mention.

If you are tired after a long day at work or have just had an argument with a family member, anything which means that you have your mind on other things, give betting a miss. It is easy to make a mistake when you are not concentrating and as we are talking about real money here it is easy to place a bet that you would not normally make.

Talking of not thinking straight, never, never, never have a bet when under the influence of alcohol. Again, this might seem like strange advice coming from a sportsbook but at we really do have your best interests at heart. To give you an example of why drinking and betting do not mix, in the UK they have bookies (sportsbooks) on every street and it is no coincidence that they are always situated as close as possible to the nearest pubs, we'll leave you to work out why!

When someone has had an alcoholic drink it is funny how they believe that they just have to win, no matter what bet they make, of course it doesn't work like that and there is nothing worse than waking up the following morning with the realization that you not only have a headache but you have also lost money, not a good feeling at all.

So as you can see, it all boils down to common sense really, obviously we all make mistakes now and again but if you keep these simple rules in mind you will find that betting on college football is a far more pleasant experience and you will be far more likely to turn a profit as opposed to making silly mistake which you will kick yourself for making afterwards.
